In response to the rapid growth of international cross-border e-commerce, the signing of the RCEP agreement, and the continued advancement of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the global multimodal transport system has gained significant momentum. In light of these developments, The Group, together with partners from Singapore and China, invested in and established a Sino-foreign joint venture in Guangxi, China — Singapore-China Integrated Developments (Guangxi) Pte Ltd,并于2018年1月24日由新中产业投资公司,在中国广西南宁市投资、成立、建设并运营“China-Singapore (Nanning) International Logistics Park (CSILP)”。
CSILP is strategically located within the Nanning Area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Nanning Comprehensive Bonded Zone. It is designed as a multi-functional, integrated international logistics and industrial innovation hub, bringing together manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, exhibition, trade, and financial services. As a flagship, innovative, and exemplary project of China–Singapore collaboration along the New International Land-Sea Corridor, CSILP leverages its strengths in international containter shipping and logistics between China and global markets to drive greater cargo flow through the Beibu Gulf. In doing so, it enhances economic and trade connectivity between China and RCEP member economies, with ASEAN as a key market.
